Prior to Mel beginning her career as a Property Consultant in 2009, she came from a 14-year career in Child Protection where her communication skills were developed to a very high standard.
Since joining Ripple in 2010, both her tireless dedication and fine-tuned personal and communication skills have resulted in her becoming a highly regarded and sought after Consultant in her own right. Outside of real estate, Mel is married with two adult step children, and has two labradoodles that are the apple of her eye! In her rare personal downtime she enjoys playing competition squash, running and spending time in her garden!
There is no “area specialist” tag here! Mel has consistently listed and sold properties across all areas of Southern Tasmania. Her proven results, strong communication skills and tireless work ethic will be an absolute asset to her clients. Her own history of owning several rental properties, renovating, and the current project of designing and building a new home, all add to the many layers Mel brings to the table in terms of experience with real estate transactions!

Mel is currently a board member of a non-Government body providing out of home care in Hobart and has previously been a committee member of Squash Tasmania and a member of Moonah Rotary.
